CSM-37 US JACKSON SILVER CLOISONNE STAMP MASTERPICE RARE |
This is the rare SILVER CLOISONNE STAMP MASTERPICE CSM-37 U.S. JACKSON SCOTT NO. 193 (1.000 FINE SILVER 13.3 grams) This silver masterpiece was issued by 99 Company. Starting in 1973, each month 99 Company issued reproduced 2 of the most valuable or historically significant stamps of the world in Cloisonne, the ancient art of firing colored enamels into precisely shaped-sculptured out hollows in silver (CSM) or bronnze (CBM) at high temperatures. The finished stamp is a work of art in vivid color that will endure for centuries. The last issue was CSM-70 in 1977. Mintages are unknown as they were reduced during 1979 to 1981 when the Hunt brothers tried to corner the silver market, driving silver to $50.00 an ounce, and many silver items were melted. This is a must for any Stamp and Silver Art collector. Buyer agrees to pay $3.00 for first class shipping in the US. Outside the US pays cost. I ACCEPT PAYPAL See my other items.
