Those who follow our next up feature list know that the most voted on feature of the last month, surprisingly, had been to offer sellers the means to restrict unsavory buyers from getting mixed up in their business. You can now setup buyer restrictions based on feedback received, country to which offer will be shipped, or specific buyer ID. There's a complete help page dedicated to explaining each of these options here. We'll probably later add other options, but this is an area in which we want to tread lightly, since our overarching philosophy is that all users deserve the benefit of the doubt until their actions prove otherwise. The help page explains this in greater detail.

The Backup Server has Landed

As of this evening, all Bonanzle traffic is now being split between two servers running in parallel. What does it mean to you? Ideally, nothing! But in the future, this means we'll be able to continue to seamlessly add capacity to Bonanzle without weeks of programming and beta testing. It would also mean that in cases where one server experiences problems, we can shift load to the other server and avoid prolonged downtime. Bonanzle's resident technologist assures you this is sufficiently way cool to warrant mention.

Next Up?

This week, we are splitting our time between two goals. The first is making Bonanzle dumb-easy for new users. In the course of relentlessly adding features since our September launch, there have been some rough edges here and there that get overlooked. Within the next couple weeks, we're hoping to make Bonanzle buttery smooth for new visitors that have no idea what the heck Bonanzle is or why they'd want to use it. The second objective is to continue to find additional channels in which to syndicate items being sold on Bonanzle. We hear the stories of how many of you rely on Bonanzle income to supplement your primary income, and especially in an economic climate like this, we think it's imperative that our sellers have every opportunity to succeed if they use the tools we have available.

Tell it! Bonanzle's growth is driven by success stories like yours. Tell it in your blog. Tell it in other people's blog comments. Or tell it in our new story form. If your friends still listen to you, tell them too. And of course, your family has no choice but to listen to you, so they should work quite nicely. It's not like they didn't have this coming to them after some of the stories they made you sit through last Thanksgiving.
