Bonanza Pets have Perks

Many of us at Bonanza have pets and in the Before Days, we'd often bring them to the office with us. Now, our animal companions are enjoying extra petting, treats , and walks while our team works from home. A perk of working for a marketplace like Bonanza is the opportunity to peruse the booths of our seller community while working on the site. We often find interesting snacks and toys for our furry friends!

I'd like to introduce a few of them today, along with their recommendations for items they love on Bonanza.

Space Ghost

Bill, our CEO, has a beautiful white Turkish Van cat who gets an occasional haircut thanks to allergies in their family.

Space Ghost recommends these products Inaba Churu Chicken with Scallop Recipe Cat Treat, Bug Jar Cat Toy, Cat Trees, and Crocs shoes all found on Bonanza!

Mucca, Tucker, Eiger, and Felix

Greg, VP at Bonanza, has a Greater Swiss Mountain dog, a white lab, and two guinea pigs.

The first image is “The Mook” (Mucca), it’s her job at Bonanza to make sure everyone is at work and stays together.  She also likes to lay in the middle of any given room to make you either pet her or walk around her. She loves to be a part of everything going on - she never missed one of our infrequent meetings. The white lab is “Bonanza Tuck” (Tucker), who likes to play with Bonanza Potter.  

Eiger and Felix ordered some guinea pig hammocks and rarely leave them except for the occasional stroll and of course food.  Felix (aka mini Mook) on occasion will ask for a ride.  

Hoisin and Halloumi

Ian, a valued developer at Bonanza, has two cats to keep him company while working from home.

One of the most charming of our cat Hoisin's many charming tendencies is requesting to be picked up and cuddled. This occurs on his timeline though usually in the early to mid-afternoon and it is mandatory. He starts by asking politely: Once he's up, he sets about trying to find the most awkward possible position on my arms, shoulders, and neck. Hoisin and Halloumi are happy to recommend felted wool cat caves like this one.

Potter

Meet Potter! Potter is a 4-year-old Dachshund/Papillon mix. He was rescued from a kill shelter in California and has been a part of the Bonanza family since 2018. Weighing in at approximately 10 pounds, Potter is easily transportable and has made the Bonanza Headquarters his second home. His trademark ears (one up, one down) and goofy trot put smiles on the faces of passers-by. Potter may be small, but he thinks he's the Big Man On Campus. His favorite games are tug-of-war and chase. He loves to sit on laps and has a lot of love to give.

Pet Costumes

Halloween will be here before you know it, and we are always prepared. Bonanza has a wonderful selection of costumes and clothes for your pets. Here are some of our four-legged co-workers modeling must-have looks!
