I was hoping someone from Bonanza could help with shipping. We just purchased our first label, and was less then pleased with the experience. Here’s what we found out.
1) The label cost us $0.02 more than purchasing through PayPal using their ShipStation service. Your service cost $4.46, while the same label would have cost $4.44 through our previous method. I understand that you’ve been advertising a price guarantee. How do we get the excess $0.02 refunded? And will we have to go through this every time we print a label that isn’t cheaper than our previous shipping method?
2) We chose 4×6 PDF Letter as the option for our shipping label. We use a very standard 8.5×11 sheet paper with two labels per page. Unfortunately, the PDF you provided puts the label right in the center as a portrait orientation. This is useless with our labels, and I’ll now need to affix the label with clear tape. Can you provide us with an option that will work for printing directly to a label in the future? That is the default orientation for Paypal’s ShipStation service.
3) We were pleased that when we selected the shipping fund option, it removed the $0.25 credit card fee. However, the only option is to add $30 to the fund. There is no ability to increase/decrease the amount in the fund. Is there a way to manage that directly? I would prefer to not have an additional $25.00 of my business capital tied up in your shipping service.
4) We actually have THREE Bonanza accounts. Will we have to have a separate shipping fund for each account? If so… then question number 3 takes on even more importance, since we certainly don’t want to have $75-90 of our business funds tied up in your shipping service. That is capital that could be better utilized elsewhere.
5) I noticed that instead of our name… the postage label has “B1 Bonanza Seller” on the return address. Why does that not have our actual name? Can that value be modified?
I’d be interested in how other members of the Bonanza community are dealing with these issues… and I hope to hear a reply from a Bonanza CSR shortly. Thank you for you help.

ShipStation is an approved shipping partner for Bonanza. If you go to your Shipping settings in Account Dashboard and select the third option (I purchase shipping labels from a Bonanza approved API partner) and enter ShipStation, you can go back to doing what you’ve been doing all along, avoid the shipping surcharge, and save 2 cents per label in the process!

Bonanza shipping is a joke. First order, and Pirate Ship has lower rates.
They claimed to have the best discounts when they introduced this scam, they obviously don’t.

SAME but they answer one generic answer, drop an email and a link and vanish.
We can not print 4×6″ Rollo without wasting a lot of time.
We do not have a scan sheet.
We CAN get cheaper prices elsewhere and they do NOT tell you how to get your “price match” other than dropping an email with no instructions, no requirements, no template, no timeline, not thought out at all. It sounds like it will be a massive time suck per label.
We can NOT increase all of our items sell price by $2 to pass this new fee on to the buyer.
We do NOT like our name as “BOZONZA SELLER”.

Am I glad I put my shop on vacation. No shipping rates ahead of roll out, that’s a big red flag. I also use a rollo printer so I guess that’s an issue too. Reprinting is another feature I love at PS not to mention their excellent customer service. Bonanza is never going to beat PS!

I have three booths and I have put them all on vaction mode. I sold one item after they changed the shipping and the label cost me $1.00 more then it was on pirate ship. If they change their new shipping policy I will reopen my booths, until then they are going to stay closed. I sell a lot more on several other sights in a month then I have ever sold here in as years time.
