Shelly here! We've heard from our community that you want more payment options on Bonanza. This past spring, we made Stripe available as a payment processor to all sellers. As the holidays grow nearer, we've added a new payment option in the cart: PayPal Credit. Shoppers can use PayPal Credit's digital, reusable credit line to shop at any seller's booth on Bonanza. Whether you're buying the perfect gift or purchasing a new couch, you can get 6 months special financing on purchases of $99 or more every time you shop with PayPal Credit.
With PayPal Credit, customers can pay over time, while you, the seller, get paid in full, upfront, every time. You take on no additional risk — PayPal even collects the payments — so you can confidently go about business as usual with the support of one of the most trusted digital wallets. Buyers will get a credit decision in seconds with a quick application, making larger purchases feasible.
As a buyer, PayPal Credit is everything you love about PayPal – and more.
All the benefits of PayPal when you shop with PayPal Credit
Purchase Protection
If something goes wrong with your order, PayPal will reimburse you for the full purchase price plus any original shipping costs. See Limitations and Learn More
Return Shipping by PayPal
If you aren't happy with your order, PayPal will refund the cost of sending it back. See Limitations and Learn More
We hope that this new option will make the holidays a little easier for everyone this year. There are so many great small businesses on Bonanza; you'll easily find gift options for the special people in your life. Happy Bonanzling!

Great News!
Agreed, AlicesLookingGlass!
Hello,
During our 40+ years activity, we get a few times “chargebak” from scam-buyers, just simple thieves criminals.
Therefore, we ship only to “verified by PayPal” customers, and to confirmed addresses.
If it appears in our PayPal account a payment from a non-verified customer, our accounting software rejects and refunds the payment.
Petrutech Spy Shop
Thanks for your comment petrutech! Using “verified by PayPal” as you are ensures seller protection.
Very good indeed for the shoppers. great work
Thank you, puppyhaynes!
lol….what percentage of sellers carry a lot of items costing over $99.00? How many sellers does this help, 1% of sellers?
Hi jewelrymandave! Thanks for your feedback. There are a surprising number of items for sale over $99. We hope this PayPal option will help buyers manage this holiday season.
Awesome Shelly, thanks for the information. Nice to have more options.
You’re welcome, SpaceAgeAntiques! We agree, options are nice!

Thanks for your helpful post.
You’re very welcome, bingoshop!
Hi Shelly,
Do we need to do anything additional in our booth setup to accept PayPal credit or it now comes default as a seller in Bonanza?
Thanks,
Ezra
Hi Ezra, thanks for your question. You do not need to do anything additional. The PayPal Credit button is now on all checkout pages.
Magnificent, very good initiative and very good strategy!
Thanks, Cscb971!
Sounds great. It’s always nice to have more options. Thank you.
It sure is! Thanks, ToysFromAttic!
This is great! Looking forward to the holidays.
Thanks, Modellaire_Boutique!
Why can’t I use Western-Union or some other service?
Hi ITSAHOLDUP. Western-Union does not have any protections in place for either buyer or seller. We will continue to look for more payment processor options in the coming year.
I would like to pay my fees with PayPal, which is what we do on eBay and other sites.
Hi sahotrocks! Thanks for your comment. You can pay your fees with PayPal by going to your billing statement between the first and fourth of the month to pay with PayPal. If the fee is paid before it is due, usually on the fifth, we will not charge your credit card for fees.
It’s great idea????
Thanks, DomenicoP19!
Woohoo! Thank you so much. ????
You’re welcome, Boosjhe64!
please send a link to add this feature to my BONANZA STORE
Hi artizay! You do not need a link, the feature is already active for everyone, including your Bonanza Store. Thanks for asking!
This is great, I have had customers use this on some of my other listings. Good for customer and good for me. Win, Win
Excellent! Thanks, Missjenny!
Nice going.
Thanks, shoreliner!
Great news, thank you!
You’re welcome, Howlin_Hounds!
This is great for bigger purchases. Was really happy to see that stripes is a payment method. Thanks, ZappyTees.
Thanks, ZappyTees! We have heard through the voices of our Seller Advisory Panel, our feature request page, and folks like you in the blog comments, that you would like to see methods of payments expanded. We have been hard at work and are happy to have been able to implement Stripe and PayPal Credit. Our work in this area is not yet done, and we are planning more options for next year.
Since bronze statues tend to be a bit pricey I’m looking forward to more sales especially with the holidays coming up. Thank you!
Michele
That’s great, Michele! I hope your buyers take advantage of this offer.
Is there something we need to do as sellers to enable PayPal Credit?
Nope, you’re all set! The credit option is available to all in the cart.
Awesome! The more options buyers have the better. Thanks.
Absolutely! Thanks, afinds!
Thanks Shelly. Only just seen your reply.
I would like to set fees to automatically be deducted from sales, failing which auto from PayPal.
Stripe and many other payment options are not available in my country.
Regards
Hi sahotrocks! We are working on having the fees be automatically deducted from the sales, but at this moment it is not possible. You can pay with PayPal as I indicated before, by paying before the fifth of the month. PayPal does not allow automatic payments that are varied, so manually making the PayPal payment is the only possibility there.
Good news! Just in time for holiday shopping.
Yeah
