System Maintenance Around Midnight PST - 3/26/2009
Update 1:45 AM: Well that was quick. Only ended up taking about 45 minutes total. All should be well again.
Update: I'll probably do it closer to 12:30 or 1:00 AM PST in order to avoid disrupting too many Google Base feeds (many are scheduled for about midnight PST)
I'm going to be doing some work on the database this evening, which may or may not cause the site to be unavailable for awhile (tech nerd explanation: I'm not positive whether changing database indexes causes the table to lock, but I think it does, which would mean the items table would be unavailable for changing).
I would expect the maintenance will last a maximum of three hours.

Thank you for keeping us all in the loop. As someone who usually works at night, it’s always useful to know ahead of time when there will be downtime.
